Supplementing
the Patrol Unit, the University Police Department
also maintains an extensive Student Assistant
Program. The program supplies Evening Guides
to escort members of the campus community
up to two blocks off campus.
Police Service Assistants (PSAs) provide the campus community with many services, such as unlock services when a
facility needs to be made available to students
and visitors. as well as specialized
duties for University Housing Services and the College of Engineering. They also act as backup Public
Safety Dispatchers assisting in the Communications
