On behalf of the San José State University Police Department, welcome to the SJSU campus. our goal is to provide a safe campus environment that is conducive to education and creativity. our Annual Safety Report is designed to provide you with a crime prevention resource that will increase safety awareness and provide access to important statistical information about crime on campus.

Members of the University Police Department are highly trained and skilled professionals that are here to deliver expert police, public safety and parking services to the campus community. To provide meaningful and effective services, the University Police Department has created many partnerships with the campus community and surrounding neighborhood organizations, as well as local, state and federal agencies.
