The San José State University Police Department communicates potentially hazardous situations (including criminal activity) to the community via: campus voice-mail; campus e-mail; the Critical Reach Alert system; and posted flyers, as appropriate. Community Alert Bulletins and a weekly crime blotter are a regular part of the UPD web site (www.sjsupd.com) in an on-going effort to keep the campus community informed and aware. A daily media log is maintained in the UPD Communications Center available for review by the general public at any time, upon request.
